Drop real photos here (jpg, png or webp) using these base names, then run `python build.py` from `src/`.
Images whose slots are filled lose the `-PLACEHOLDER` suffix.

The book cover is not a photo slot: it is rendered from the landing page's `Book3D.jsx` by `render_cover.py` into `src/assets-gen/`.
